Helloooo! It’s a new year, and I’m trying to get excited about getting back to work after the holidays, but the weather is too good, and I’ve become obsessed with stand-up paddle-boarding and reading. Sometimes together. I’m thinking of going pro 😉
I have very limited experience as a reading-stand-up paddle-boarder. A few hours experience to be precise. So when artists like me are fantasising about making irrational career choices like this – as if being an artist isn’t silly enough – it’s a good idea to clean up and have a studio sale! Better still, get together with a couple of your artist mates, who are also fantasising new and more irrational career choices, and have a big clean up and an even bigger studio sale!

My mate children’s illustrator, Tamsin Ainslie, pondering a career in yodelling. That’s right YODELLING!
So that’s exactly what we’re doing, and you’re invited to our SUPER SWEET bigger than Ben-Hur studio sale at Tamsin’s funky new gallery, Sugarmill Studio, at 4/15 Commercial Rd, Murwillumbah, NSW. You’ll find samples, seconds, one-offs, discontinued and limited edition pieces by local artists including Olive and The Volcano Letterpress, Blu Byron, Tamsin Ainslie and Pinky and Maurice. The sale opens TOMORROW, Tuesday 12 January until Saturday 16 January! Trading hours 10am – 4pm. Enquiries call Tamsin 0408442274

We’ve cleared out the studio drawers and dusted off the shelves to make room for new ideas, characters and forms. Beautiful paintings and illustrations by Tamsin Ainslie.

Handmade porcelain by Pinky & Maurice, you’ll find seconds, samples and discontinued lines at cost price.
…and that’s just for starters, there’s even more craziness in store! See you this week at Sugarmill Studio!
